Proverbs Chapter 4
Sunday, 1-4-09 – We read Proverbs 4:1-4
Pro 4:1 Hear, O sons, a father's instruction, and be attentive, that you may gain insight;
Pro 4:2 for I give you good precepts: do not forsake my teaching.
Pro 4:3 When I was a son with my father, tender, the only one in the sight of my mother,
Pro 4:4 he taught me, and said to me, "Let your heart hold fast my words; keep my commandments, and live;
Prophesy:
And indeed! And indeed! The Lord God sees fit to record how a father teaches his son.
And the Lord God saw fit to include in his word, teaching about parenting.
And the Lord God saw fit to expose what was wrong on the [XCOBU] list.
And the reason they're up in arms is because their list was based on their own thoughts, and the Lord God stepped in.
It's as if, they had their own club and God walked in the door.
This is why their feathers are ruffled, 'How dare Dave Simmons bring God into our midst!'
'He's not even in our group!'
'And he's talking about Chris, our beloved brother, one who is like us!'
'We like to gad about!'
'We don't care if we're edifying!'
'We like to name-call!'
'And call people 'puppet'!'
Little children, little children, wake up.
This is why they are angry.
Then we continued to read Proverbs 4:5-8
Pro 4:5 do not forget, and do not turn away from the words of my mouth. Get wisdom; get insight.
Pro 4:6 Do not forsake her, and she will keep you; love her, and she will guard you.
Pro 4:7 The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight.
Pro 4:8 Prize her highly, and she will exalt you; she will honor you if you embrace her.
Prophecy:
And is it not wisdom my children to be quick to hear and slow to speak? (Jas. 1:19)
For speaking entraps.
And speaking, being that no one is perfect, reveals hearts, reveals thoughts. (Mt 12:34, Mt 15:18, Lk 6:45, Php 3:12)
When you hear the sister (who called today about the prophecy posted on the XCOBU list on 1-1-09.) talking about Jezebel, as if she knows what it means. What I say to you is, if you know something, if the Lord is showing you to speak it, speak it. And sometimes I will show you things that you will not speak.
And sometimes you will not know how to answer a question and you will say,
'I do not know how to answer that, let me think about it, let me pray on it, let me consider it.'
But I say to you, healing will spring forth when the heart seeks the Lord; healing of heart, healing of soul, healing of mind, healing of body.
And do not fear to pray for the healing of the body; as you did yourself this day, my daughter, praying for your sisters body. Keep praying for her body. Do not fear to pray for the healing of the body, but the soul is vital. For the soul has a chance to reach into the kingdom. And the soul that has no moral value, is a wasted soul. It is wasted for itself and it is wasted for those around it.
For your sister had many experiences, with many people, but the Lord your God is greater than experiences. The Lord your God has the power to reach inside and alter.
AND WHAT WILL IT BE MY SON, WHEN YOU TOUCH HER AND SHE'S HEALED, PHYSICALLY?! (DS: Woe!)
And yet when you prayed for your brother, all he had was brackish in his heart toward you. (The day we went to pray for his physical healing, was the day he prayed against us.)
What will the message be there? And won't that be a day, won't that be a wondrous moment? (When our sister is healed.) And I counsel you to pray every day for her healing. For as your wife said to the Lord, 'Did I knit her in the womb and can I not re-knit her?' (DS: Indeed!) And so I say, increase your faith about the healing of physical bodies, (DS: Yes Lord God!) for you have never entertained it.
(DS: No I haven't.) And so I say, your faith is weak in it, but I say to you, you cannot pray effectively for this healing without great faith that it can be done.
So I say to you, start small, pray for healing of other physical ailments. Pray for your sisters vertigo. Pray for any bodily ailments: pain in your foot. (DS: Yes, and my eyes.) Pain and your healing for your eyes. For I say to you, without faith it is impossible to be healed. (Heb 11:6, Mt 15:28, Mk 5:34)
And what was the reason I said that your brother could not be healed?; was because of his double-mindedness. That one day he was saying: 'Living Water is it', and the next day he was saying: 'Living Water is not it.' One day he broke bread with you, and the next day he was cursing you. (Jas 3:10, Jn 13:18) Blessing and cursing, blessing and cursing, make up your mind, oh man of double-mind! For he who is double minded cannot expect to receive anything from the Lord. (Jas 1:7)
And indeed my daughter, it is true, that you did experience a prayer of healing in the case of your mother. That she had a sore that aggravated her for so long, that her sister who was a nurse said, that it could never be healed. And that she dug through her night gown and tore it and yet your prayer is what healed her wound, though she has forgotten it. (DS: Wow!) Because when many days pass, small wound healings because of prayer, are forgotten; but WHO WILL FORGET WHEN YOUR SISTER WALKS OUT OF HER WHEELCHAIR! (DS: Ha,ha,ha Nobody!) Indeed! (DS: It's unmistakable!) Indeed! (DS: Undeniable!) Indeed! So I say all the more, pray for this healing, everyday, add it to your list: our sisters physical healing and the faith in it.
I am speaking of faith here. Everyday you've been praying that I increase your faith, you've been praying about knowledge about healing, so I am saying to you, healing is important, but soul is more important. She is a damaged soul, (DS: Indeed Lord God.) pray for her daily, pray for her, for I have put her in your hand and that is a blessing. If no one else comes forth from today until the day of your death, only think of the one who is with you. Do not think of the many who are on the list, who are not with you. (DS: Right.) Focus on what's in your path, she is in your path.
